Maintaing your Mastband
The LTE network is evolving and the network providers will perform software and hardware changes to improve their network. This in itself can have a detrimental effect on the router deployed. However, in Mastband’s case we have the ability to remotely reconfigure our devices and bring the service back to optimum performance. Meaning maintenance for you will not be a factor.
We’ve got you covered. We can deploy any desired configuration template or new firmware version to all our units at the same time. Over-the-air bulk upgrade and configuration significantly reduces the costs of system maintenance meaning users on the network are unaware of performance enhancing upgrades taking place.
Why Mastband?
It’s all about the equipment we use. LTE offered on other equipment like phones, dongles or entry-level routers are single-strand radio technology and are simply not as powerful or capable as the equipment we use for our Mastband service. Other equipment is not designed to hold on to specific signals and will always choose the strongest signal available,resulting in inconsistent speeds, and if the signal does drop then so will your connection.
Mastband searches, differentiates, and “locks” onto the 5G spectrum even in low signal areas giving consistent fibre-like speeds. Other equipment can only provide 5G broadband in higher signal areas. Mastand is monitored through our own servers to guarantee health and continuity. So simply, if the Mastband service is mapped successfully when we know your postcode, it will work, even if your phone cannot obtain any signal at all, making it the ideal Rural Broadband solution already opted for by 10,000+ UK customers.
CCTV
As we have a server driven network we have the ability to open ports specifically on your device without the need for a fixed IP. Perfect for CCTV or other services that need a specific address to work. We can activate your device and provide specific address that will be incredibly secure and totally unique to you.
Maintenance and diagnostics
We monitor your Mastband health remotely, checking performance indicators like temperature, signal strength and all the device details. We can also remotely reboot devices and download troubleshooting or system event files for in-depth health analysis.
Android Application
All of our engineers can securely access your device remotely by just using their Android phone again alleviating the need for site visits and dramatically reducing the time needed to fix any unforseen issues.
